BRIEF DESCRIPTION TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO/CARIBBEAN TOURISM: Trinidad and Tobago is officially known as Republic of Trinidad and Tobago or an archipelagic state. It is made up of two Islands, and both lie on the southern part of Caribbean Sea, off the coast of Venezuela and south of Grenada in the Lesser Antilles. Trinidad is larger and more populous than Tobago. It occupies an average area of about 1,841 square miles in the southernmost part of Caribbean. It is the fifth largest island in West Indies and located at about 11kilometer off the cost of Venezuela. The landforms include: Dinah ranges—consisting of: the Northern, Central and Southern Ranges amongst many others. Tobago is smaller. It is located in the southeastern part of Grenada. It lies outside the hurricane belt of Caribbean. Both shares maritime boundaries with other nations like: Barbados, Guyana, and Venezuela.
