BRIEF DESCRIPTION SYDNEY FESTIVAL Sydney Festival is one of the major arts festivals in Sidney. And Sidney on the other way round, is one of the Australia's largest Cities. Sidney festival, according to the history, was established in 1977. And since then has been running every January for three weeks. It offers or hosts about 80 events involving upwards of 500 artists from Australia and abroad. The line-up of events usually include: visual arts, film, forums, dance, parades, theater, music, free outdoor etc. The Festival uses at least 30 venues including: Sydney Theater, Carriage Works, City Recital Hall, Sydney Opera House, community halls, city streets etc. It has free and ticketed programs: The free festivals always attract about 500,000 people annually to the region while about 150,000 are attracted to the ticketed events. According to some sources it is said to have contributed an approximately A$50 million to the economy of New South Wales. LIMBO, one of the features of the events of the year is see as a wild, wicked and out of this world circus. It is said to be dirty and dangerous. And usually whisk audiences into a sinister or jaw-dropping contortion characterized by nail-biting stunts, gut-churning aerial acrobatics, and staggering illusions.
