BRIEF DESCRIPTION No two WOMADelaide festivals are the same; each presents a unique and amazing performances. One of the amazing performaces this year is the traditional Airileke performance at Zoo Stage venue during the festival. It is fantastic and eclectic. Enjoy it WOMADelaide festival, in general terms, is formerly a bi-annual music and dance event. But now it has turned annual. It is a 4 days event that has attracted more than 300 groups from 80 countries across the world. It was first held in 1992 at Botanic Park, Adelaide, South Australia. Botanic Park is situated in the north-east of central Adelaide, in-between the Adelaide Zoo and Adelaide Botanic Garden. The festival area is divided into zones which include: visual arts, exhibitions, KidZone, a Global Village market area etc The KidZone is a smoke-free zone, unlike Global Village market area. Global Village market area, is vast, and has not less than100 types of food, crafts, display stalls, bars etc. In 2008 WOMADelaide festival won the FasterLouder Festival Award for best Sound & Production. It also received in 2008, the Helpmann Award for Best Contemporary Music Festival.
